ONE PIECE Music Symphony premieres at the Palau de la Música with sold-out performances

09.02.2026

The Palau de la Música Catalana hosts today, February 9, and tomorrow, February 10 (Concert Hall, 8 pm), the double performance of ONE PIECE Music Symphony, with all tickets sold out for weeks. This marks the first time in Spain that the music from the legendary anime series One Piece is performed in a symphonic format, in a joint production by the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (OSV), in collaboration with Manga Barcelona.

This outstanding success launches a three-way strategic partnership between an internationally renowned musical institution, an orchestra with extensive experience in innovative symphonic formats, and Spain’s leading manga and anime event. Following its success in Barcelona, the project will continue on June 13 and 14 in Madrid, with new concerts at the IFEMA Madrid Municipal Palace.

The concerts offer a unique immersive experience, featuring a selection of the series’ most memorable moments projected on a giant screen while more than 50 musicians from the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, conducted on this occasion by Maxime Pitois, perform a selection of its iconic soundtrack live.

The series’ original composer, Kohei Tanaka, has prepared special arrangements for the occasion. The program includes highly anticipated pieces such as the new opening theme “UUUUUS!”, as well as emblematic tracks including Haha naru Umi (Mother Sea), Sekai no ichiban oden da!!, and Luffy’s Gear 5 Theme, among many others.

With more than 25 years of history, One Piece is one of the longest-running and most successful anime franchises in the world, with millions of fans worldwide. Created by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece follows the adventures of the young pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in their quest to find the legendary treasure known as One Piece.
