The Palau de la Música Catalana will host a double concert on 9 and 10 February 2026 in collaboration with Manga Barcelona

For the first time in Spain, the music of this iconic anime series will be performed in a symphonic format. In collaboration with Manga Barcelona, the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will present One Piece Music Symphony on 9 and 10 February 2026.

One Piece is one of the most famous anime series in the world. Created by Eiichiro Oda, it follows the adventures of the young pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in search of the legendary treasure One Piece. The series combines adventure, humor, and emotion in a rich and imaginative world, and is renowned for its epic storytelling, charismatic characters, and memorable music. With over 25 years of history, One Piece is one of the longest-running and most successful anime franchises, with millions of fans worldwide.

The concerts at the Palau will offer a unique experience: the most memorable moments of the series projected on a giant screen, accompanied by a 50-musician symphony orchestra performing the iconic soundtrack live.

This is an epic celebration of One Piece music, full of action and emotion, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the magic of a full orchestra while reliving the greatest adventures of the Straw Hat Crew in perfect sync with the visuals.

Composer Kohei Tanaka has prepared special arrangements for this show, some of which premiered earlier this year. Among the most anticipated musical moments are the brand-new TV opening theme “UUUUUS!”, as well as emblematic pieces such as “Haha naru Umi” (Mother Sea), “Sekai no ichiban oden da!!” (This is the best oden in the world!!), “Ore no saikouchiten” (Luffy’s Gear 5 Theme), and many more.
