L’Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (OSV) is a reality which has been taking music to people’s hearts ever since 1987.
Emotions are our forte, and in order to communicate them, we increasingly try to get closer to our public and encourage them to participate. Furthermore we try to innovate in the presentation and our way of making music, and we try to develop our compromise in quality with our community, from the city of Sabadell, which is our base, to the whole of Catalonia.
We were born in the heart of the Associació d’Amics del’Opera of Sabadell, but only one year later we transformed into the only symphonic orchestra in Spain organised in a business way as a labour limited company where the workers become the owners.
We are grateful for the help given to us by Fundació Banc Sabadell, the Ajuntament de Sabadell by the business groups Fluidra, Uriach, Mèmora and Bardet, likewise for the confidence and support given to us by Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals, we should also remember our friends, season ticket holders and followers, without whom our aims would be un realizable, nor would it be posible to convert our community into a more pleasant space, richer and richer year after year, being more able to live out and express its emotions.
Més de 100 concerts a l'any per tota Catalunya i Espanya.
